Bubbles are mostly air and water with tiny tiny amuonts of soap. They are not very nice tasting (to me, anyway, the dog seems to like them) but you would have to eat a LOT to get sick.
Besides, have you seen what a dog will eat if you don’t stop them in time? Bubbles are nothing!
Undoubtedly, the Newfoundland is a very good dog, but I don’t think I would let my very young child play that close to ANY dog’s mouth. Babies routinely manhandle dogs, and Newfs are BIG. I’ve seen too many dogs end up in shelters because they bit the baby, and I wonder how many of those dogs were just annoyed with this little thing that keeps messing with them?

I love the hysterical giggling in the first one. Kids are so happy, I wish I could laugh like that at something so simple.
That’s cute.
It’s fun seeing just how easily amused we all were at that age.
Am I the only one that can’t read it? It’s just a blank white page for me beneath the heading…
Am I the only one who thinks eating bubbles may be a bad thing for the dog?
Won’t the dog get sick from eating those bubbles?

I love that sound. Always lifts my spirits.
It depends on what kind of soap has made the bubbles. My guess is that it is a special kind of baby soap, and those tend to be quite harmless.
I loved the second video, as you can also see there how careful the dog is not to hurt the child.
That Newf is a good dog. Reminds me of my Sis M’s dog, Dewey, who’s just great with her kids.

I think it’s better just to enjoy the laughter these videos were intended to inspire and let the owners/mother’s worry about the babies and dogs.
