Feel Good Friday

This is not your usual Feel Good Friday fare. The time and creativity put into this happy little video surely made the creator happy and that makes me feel good, too.

I’m going to be honest and say I have no idea why this video is on feel good Friday. It seemed like a waste of time, blue cardboard and toilet paper. Mind you I had a cat lying on my face for half of it, so…

I thought this was very cute and the music was great (love the dub!).
Sometimes creativity doesn’t really have to mean anything and as long as the creator enjoyed it and no one was harmed, was time really wasted?

Uh, PrincessSimmi, why is this a waste of time? It looked like a fun little exercise in stop motion video making. With a little more attention and effort to the backdrops and such, he could create something really amazing. I’m sure this is in feel good Friday because it’s cute and brings a smile to some faces :)

I just watched the entire video, and I DO feel it belongs here. It made me feel better, happier, delighted at all the play, work, obvious enthusiasm, even passion, it took to produce this video. The music–guitar picking, syncopation, voice, left me with a Bob Marley feel good feeling. And the whole thing–title page, long list of friends, some probably helpers, wife and little son (with a “don’t just let your dreams be dreams” message–a word from Dad to him forever, if something bad happens–DO something to make your dreams come true!–starting with true appreciation for his wife: the whole things smiles and glows with creativity, gratitude, appreciation, and doing something fun with what one has. I hope it leads the creator to similar endeavors on a large scale, with great resources, equipment, products and rewards–if that is his desire.
I’m impressed with the”feeling of real” Karim Rejeb-Sufart(.com) achieved with these dime store toys, a blue mat, a sheet, road sand, and a videocam of some sort! I kept hoping the surfer wouldn’t be swamped by the ocean waves (even tho I knew it was a sheet). And enjoyed watching the surfer slip on out front of the huge wave with a surf slip stream following his surf board on top of the “water.”. The motor bus was obviously on a trip of some sort, with stops, interactions with people, and comic cat relief. Two stories were being told. And how on earth did he gets those surfers/skateboarders to turn somersaults in the air for us?!
Maybe one has to live 73 years and be blessed with the blessings of God and practicing–expressing–gratitude–for half a hundred years and more to truly see. But I say – “Bravo! Thanks–in the midst of wars, graft, corruption, terrorism, financial meltdowns and credit freezes and oil spills that all ruin the lives, hopes, and retirement dreams of 100’s of millions of people, political recalcitrance and incompetence and sell-outs to corporate powers over and over. What a fresh, delightful, constructive, happy three minutes or so. The more I watched, the more I enjoyed.
Thank you, Karim! And thank you, Feel Good Friday ADMIN.!
