Some people might not find this “feel good” but the humor of the advertisement is offbeat. I won’t ruin the ending by commenting further.
Some commentators are failing to see the “feel good” of this video and are instead focusing on the means by which the message is conveyed. Is not the mouse’s triumph over unsuspected danger and death a good thing? Being victorious over adversities one encounters in life makes me feel good and this was a cute, clever way to get that across.

Sick. But I loved it. Thanks!
Kinda funny, but it didn’t want to make me eat cheese. Apprehension =/= cheese!
Heehee, I boggled at first but I love the use of music to illustrate the point.
I was totally disturbed at first and got a little teary. But the end was nice!
CUTE!!!
Sorry – anything with Rats – not good. I want absolutely nothing to do with that cheese either.
Sorry, but although it has a “happy” ending, the image of the mouse struggling to breath as it is seemingly dying will stick with me for a while. I do not “feel good”.
I loved it!
Oh YES! That is brilliant! I love the Doors, and was almost in tears of laughter when ‘The End’ began. Wonderful. Thanks, as they say, for sharing.
Cute. Thanks for posting this!
I’m usually immune to ads, but this made me want to run out and buy some. Very cute!
Love it, hilarious!
I am an animal loving vegetrarian and I found this amusing but it did scare me at first as I had the sound down on my computer. (note to self put sound up on computer BEFORE playing YouTube Clip).
Love it! At first, I was like “No. They wouldn’t! They couldn’t possibly!” and then I was like, “Ohhhh, that’s so awesome!” Yes, it does leave you a little warm and fuzzy inside. And I, for one, will not be forgetting Nolan’s Cheddar cheese anytime in the near future.
Well, that was…different.
I thought this video was hilarious.
Props to the creators for cuteness and humor.
Another fun video is here. It’s work safe, I promise. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdUUx5FdySs
It makes me wish I had the patience for animation.
I flinched at the sound of the trap closing but the ending was funny. I liked it.
The end made me feel good, but not as much as the middle made me feel awful. But then, I’m oversensitive about things like this.
I’ve seen that before, and loved it then too. think it’s fantastic
Just to add: I do kind of wish the middle part where he appears to be slowly dying was much shorter… it would have been less agonizing to watch and a more amusing ending for me.
I loved it! I knew you would never post an animal dying. Oh, I love this website.
Can I have that mouse? It’s so cute
Hah! The mouse got an inspirational training montage. Now it’ll go on to win the world championship!
Of course not! I adore animals. The garden nursery where I buy my plants and gardening supplies has a pet prairie dog near the cash registers. I just love going there and kissyfacing with Alvina who is the most precious, affectionate little critter from the rodent family I have ever met.
Yet another reason why I don’t eat cheese.
I too wish the middle part was a little shorter, I felt sad for the poor little rodent.
I keep lots of mice in my house. They’re my little darlings. That video freaked me out! ;_
Whooooa, that is some amazing animatronic work there! It looked so real!
I must say, I couldn’t really be upset at the middle, because no mouse that gets caught in one of those things has any idea what happened until he realizes he’s in Mouse Heaven ^_^ Uh, the happy-face is because of the mental image I have of Mouse Heaven, a place where the streets are paved with Gouda and there are giant cheddar sculptures of evil-looking cats and owls, and every Friday they get to go to Yuppie Heaven for the weekly cheese-and-wine tasting and scurry about snatching crumbs dropped by drunken rich guys.
That post went fairly far off-topic . . . and even more embarrassing, now *I* want cheese!
I went to his actual website and checked out his other films and show reel and it’s some amazing stuff. Thanks!
I am still hoping that the mice that have invaded my house dont see this and get ideas!
I first watched it on mute as my kids were watching TV but I couldn’t figure out why he was “pumping” the trap. Then I rewatched it with my kids with the sound on and we were all cracking up. It made me want to look up Nolan Cheddar so it worked for us.
I agree with everyone who thought the middle section went on too long.
Elizabeth ~~ LOL! I love your vision of Mouse Heaven! You do have a delightful imagination.
Training montage! It’s time for a training MON-TAAAAGE! This made me laugh, thanks for sharing.
OK–I don’t like mice, but I was nonetheless horrified at first….until such time that I started laughing so hard I nearly choked. This is a riot!
