I was about a minute and a half in before I really started paying attention to the video (as opposed to just listening to the music) that I realized that it was the same guy playing the cello. Either that or octuplets
I love this piece and I love what the musician did with it. I’m sending it to my dad, who is a classical music nut!
Absolutely gorgeous. Feel-good Fridays are actually my favorite thing
Really enjoyed it. Thanks!
Ahhh. Not only is it beautiful for us to hear, but you could plainly see the joy they all felt creating that lovely performance. Thank you for posting it!
Wow. Absolutely amazing! What a gift to bring all of that together. Beautiful.
Very cool!
Thanks!
Breathtaking ebbs and flows. Feels almost like rain patter transfused via music.:)
I really enjoy the Friday posts, it’s a great break from the norm. The music on today’s post is beautiful. Just like many other of your FGF posts this one I will also share on to others.
Lovely:)
This music was written nearly 300 years ago, in a world that could not even imagine ours, by a man who spoke a different language than we do, and yet his music resonates in all of us. There’s so much to regret in our lives; we forget that some beauty is endless and timeless. Thank you for the reminder.
The music is a great pick-me-up for a Friday.
I love this video! And I agree with PP: Feel Good Fridays are a nice break.
Our favorite so far was the blower of giant bubbles on Stinson Beach in California. We saw him (or maybe a copycat) at Delores Park in San Francisco one weekend. My then 18 month old was absolutely enthralled.
Cool music!
I loved this, thank you for sharing it. My favorite bit was the light sabers at the end!
One person caught it….at 2:33 the left celloist throws the bow across to another celloist to the right. Considering that all the celloists are the same man, that’s a pretty cool feat of video editing.
What? I love Fridays. I was telling my boyfriend, who always sees everything on the internet before I do, that every Friday I will undoubtedly come across something he hasn’t seen before thanks to this website.
That was fun and a little funky twist on a classic. I enjoy the Feel Good Videos, especially the ones with cute puppies!
That was amazing! I saw the throw too… how the heck is that done?!
I almost always check out the Feel Good Friday posts………this one was WONDERFUL!!!!!
This was the highlight of my week. I love Bach, what an awesome and creative homage to his great work. Impressive videography too, clearly high quality camera work. Three cheers for expertly crafted music!
I always check out the Feel Good Fridays. And this is my favorite so far. I’ve always wanted to learn to play the cello and this video makes me want to play even more!
Great way to start the morning – I think I’m off to listen to more classical music!
Cellist Ethan Winer did this in “A Cello Rondo”

That was breathtaking. It’s one of my favorite pieces of music anyway, and what this artist did with it–I’m sure ol’ Johann Sebastian would’ve loved it. Just gorgeous.
Beautiful!
The cello is my favorite stringed instrument (I even like it better than a guitar) and I loved seeing it used in such an awesome way!
Quite beautiful.
Very nice. Just shared it with my daughter’s violin teacher who plays the cello as her primary instrument.
That is truly lovely. This has always been one of my favourite pieces of music.
Lovely piece, great video. The things people can do with technology these days.
What a wonderful video for a Friday afternoon.
I didn’t think that you could top the Ravel’s Bolero flash mob. I was wrong.
Makes me wish that I’d gone for cello rather than piano. Oh, well… Thank you.
I usually really like FGF posts, also this one
I am just amazed at the talent of some people. That was awsome. I would have never thought to play the cello like a guitar. WOW!!!
I loved all the different textures, and tempos he put into the piece. Very talented!
I can’t get enough of this! Beautiful!
This is one of my favorite pieces of music. What a lovely rendition!
I will admit I don’t usually comment on Fridays. I do check the website every Friday, but if the video is something I have already seen (I <3 internet meme sites) I don’t comment because I feel redundant commenting on the same video on two different sites. This one I HAVEN’T seen, and I LOOOVVE cellos, so I am glad I do stop by every Friday even if I don’t always comment, or I wouldn’t have seen this video.
Some people have truly astounding talents.
Cellos are my favorite stringed instrument too! Amazing what catgut and horsehair can do in the hands of someone with talent…
)
Well, I never post things like this to FB, but I will now.
Very nice! Thank you for sharing this with us.
Gorgeous music, and quite impressive for being all the same guy.
Who wouldn’t watch Feel Good Friday?……..I wait all week for this post <3
SO cool! Thanks!
Oh how I miss my cello! I’ve never attempted to play this, and now I’m regretting it! Kudos for the good find.
Cool! Thanks for posting!
Beautiful. *sniff* Just beautiful
