Feel Good Friday – Dubai Fountains

Lovely fountain/light show to “Time To Say Goodbye” by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman

But for creative water movement and lighting, we like “Thriller” by Michael Jackson.

I love stuff like this! But it always drives me crazy that the editors feel the need to switch camera angles as if that somehow makes it more interesting. I’ll just get intrigued with watching a particular effect and they cut away. I wish those who create videos like this would realize that the interest is not how many unusual directions one can point the camera! It happens when I watch ballet performances, fireworks, and America’s Next Top Model. Just show us the girls walking down the runway without jumping the stupid camera all over the place!

Lol. And I’m with you–Thriller the most fun!

Very appropriate song… because I say goodbye tomorrow and move abroad. 🙂 Thank you.

    Those were absolutely amazing!
(My kids and I LOVED the Thriller one. Whoever choreographed all those lights and sprays … WOW.)
Thanks so much for finding those!! ^_^

That is amazing! “Time to Say Goodbye” is such a sad song, but the light display was beautiful. “Thriller” was very awesome! I can’t imagine all the work that went into making the light show, but I applaud them for being creative & brilliant 🙂

Yes, very lovely. But I find this conspicuous display of water in such a water-poor region rather obscene.

I think you meant Andrea Bocelli?
    This is lovely.

Very, very pretty. There are two other songs on the Dubai Fountain that are especially amazing to watch, “I Will Always Love You” and “Baba Yetu,” a song in Swahili.
