Now this looks like a flash mob all the spectators could have joined into easily at the end.
Feel Good Friday – OPA!

So cool!! Seriously put a smile on my face for today!! : ) so glad the waiter finally joined in. I want to be there!!
How fun!! I would have joined in!
I totally would have joined in as would my Mom. I actually got a little teary. I seriously need some flash mob fun!!
Love this one! I agree, I enjoy the ones where the “uninitiated” can join in, easily, too.
Thanks! One of my favorite restaurants in the whole world (now sadly closed) was a Greek taverna in San Pedro, CA. The owners, waiters and patrons would dance nightly. Opa!
Does anybody know where this was? I saw a Hard Rock Cafe in the background but not a lot of other clues.
I was wondering who was going to clean up the plates. The Official Zorba plate cleaners, of course!
ArtK – It took place in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; in an area of town called the Byward Market.
There’s always a lot of buskers and tourists in the Market during the summer months, which I think helped to add to the surprise of this flash mob. Greek musicians and photographers wouldn’t be too out-of-place to begin with…
ArtK, the flash mob event occurred in Ottawa Ontario Canada, in the Byward Market – beautiful tourist area.
It does look like fun. I was just wondering though: What if someone had to leave in one of the cars parked along the road? Eight minutes can seem like a long time if, say, there was a medical emergency or something.
I don’t mean to be such a nay-sayer on flash mobs, but these are the things that creep into my mind when I see them. Obviously I’m in the minority.
lbk… most definitely you are in the minority. Long live joy.
