I’m in tears right now. I can’t even put into words how lovely and moving this is. Thank you, Admin, for posting. And thank you, Danny and Annie, for giving us all a glimpse of what true love really looks like.
Tears, tears, and more tears. Utterly beautiful! I was reminded of my parents and watching my mom take care of my father in the same way. Thanks so much for posting.

That made me just BAWL! I have to show it to my dear hubby when he gets home, he’ll fall apart, too.
That was beautiful, and like everyone else I cried at the end. It’s stories like that one that remind you what life is all about. I’m glad that Annie and Danny had so many happy years together and very grateful that they chose to share their story…
A comedian once said, and I don’t think it was exactly meant to be a joke, that marriage is the one thing where if you are successful; if you avoid all the pitfalls and remain truly in love…your best outcome, the very best you can hope for, is that the either you will die or the person you love most in the world will die.
Of course we are all going to die but not everyone gets to experience the gift of truly loving another person and being truly loved by that person in turn.
I agree with KarenK, This was “Not Safe for Work for a completely different reason!” My own fault for watching during my lunch break.
I like what Danny said about coming home to someone who you can hug. I was married twice before I met DH and we have been married for 21 years now. We call it a good start. The “real deal” feels so different from my ex-husbands. It is comforting to know there is someone who is always on my side and always has my back. Life is easier when you share the load with a partner.
Off to fix my mascara …
Wow, this made me cry so much. It’s a wonderful glimpse at what true love should be. It reminded me of my Grandparents, and how my Grandma took care of Grandpa till he passed.

Beautiful story. My parents made it to 54 years before my dad passed at the age of 80.
Thankfully there’s no one around to see the tears.
Wow, that was just so beautiful. What more can I say.

Well, this is Not Safe for Work for a completely different reason! Danny reminded me so much of my dad. Thanks for the good cry!
All the storycorps movies put me into tears but this one is the best!
Such a touching story.
Okay, admin, now I’m bawling my eyes out and I’m posting this on my FB page.
OMG! That was so beautiful. I can only hope to find a love like that in this lifetime.
I love this video! I’m so glad others do too!
I’m bawling my eyes out right now. That was the sweetest thing I have ever heard and I can only hope I find love like that one day.
Okay Pass the tissues! I hope to show this to my boys when they are older to understand what a true marriage means.
Nice to see this on Sweetest Day (the day after this was posted). Thanks!
Wow! What a beautiful love story. I cried at the end
. Bittersweet.

This is beautiful. I wasn’t sure if I could take it, and hence it took me a while to read it.
