Admin,
Thank you so much for sharing… truly appreciated.
Thank you for this video. I was really touched.
Oh my goodness. Yes, tissues most definitely required for viewing this.
Bless her and bless her the wonderful people in that town, especially her husband’s best friend. I’m so glad they were able to find each other and share their stories.
Such a beautiful ending — finally — yet so frustrating that our own government was so lackadaisical.
That was wonderful. Thank you. Her devotion and love is heartwarming, as is the gratitude shown by the village.
The failure of her representatives sickens me.
What an amazing story. Thank you for sharing this.
Beautiful.
In tears. But thankful that gentle hearts like hers still remain in this world, and thankful for the sacrifices of brave heroes like her husband that have gone on.
Normally when I see “tissue warnings” I disregard it because I’ve been forewarned and can expect it. I’m going to be ugly crying all morning now, and yet I’m so glad to have heard it. What a beautiful example of courage and unity in the face of tragedy, even if it was delayed for so long.
This never should have happened. The congressmen should have been able to either obtain her husband’s records or tell her how to request them. This is a good place to start: http://www.archives.gov/veterans/
