Kinetic Rain is the icon of the revamped Departure Check-in Hall. This specially commissioned moving sculpture is made up of 1,216 bronze rain droplets that transform elegantly into multiple shapes, akin to poetry in motion. Come and see it for yourself at Changi Airport Terminal 1 Departure Check-in Hall.

Beautiful! I wish though, the camera would have stayed in one place longer to get a better feel for what it looks like to a person in the terminal.
Thanks so much for posting!
That is cool!
I have to fly all the way to singapore now?
Want a longer video!
Would be worth traveling to see.
That’s beautiful
Go YouTube. I just typed in kinetic rain. There are lots of videos. It truly is amazing!!
That looks like it’ll be a nightmare to keep in working order.
Thanks for this, I love kinetic art and even own a few pieces by Yaacov Agam. My husbands family is from Singapore and I’m now wondering why my BIL hasn’t shot a video of this before! I’ll totally have to check this out once I finally fly out there to meet his family.
