That is amazing! I wonder how it decides what to play based on situations like that, awesome!
This was hilarious and heartwarming. My favorite bits were the dancing security guy (I think he was a security guy?) and anyone who sat down and played along or busted out another instrument to play along with it
My favorite part was ‘Chopsticks’. It was great to see that young woman accept magic so matter-of-factly.
Fantastic. Thank you very much!
Thank you for sharing this. I smiled and smiled.
Loved the guy who started dancing with the music. I was wondering if there was someone watching to change the music, especially when the piano was playing along with a piano player.
This made my 3 yr old go dug out her plastic mouth organ. Very sweet how some ppl respond 🙂
I hate to ruin the magic, but a couple of comments above appear to assume the piano was operating mostly autonomously. It’s clear to me that there was not just a human operator pushing buttons, but an actual (very skilled) pianist operating the piano remotely. The piano followed the girl playing “Chopsticks” perfectly. It also reacted immediately to Santa’s shushing.
I liked the one where the guy was accompanying the piano with his trumpet. 🙂
Not to be all “Bah, humbug”, but these are all actors, not random passersby: http://willvideoforfood.com/2013/12/15/yes-the-amtrak-chicago-magic-piano-video-is-fake/
I loved the little girl playing chopsticks. Because of course nothing odd is happening here, this is what it sounds like every time I play chopsticks. 🙂
