Feel Good Friday

You are familiar with Gene Kelly’s “Singing in the Rain” dance but did you know he could roller skate AND tap dance? Stop for a few moments and appreciate the brilliance that is Gene Kelly. From the movie “It’s Always Fair Weather” (1955).

    Did you also know that Gene Kelly did that “Singin’ in the Rain” scene with a 104 degree fever? Titan, he is.

    Many leading men of that era had class, elegance and talent, but Gene brought a wonderful lighthearted spirit to it all that gave him that extra spark.

    He is my all-time favorite dancer, and I always enjoy watching his dancing – and roller skating, climbing, swinging, leaping, etc. in a dance number. Fantastic, thank you!
