That phrase could have been written by Gord, who’s left pretty much the entire country in mourning since his passing on Tuesday night, of a brain tumour. We’ve all been so spoiled by him and the band giving us rich stories and music for decades and now that’s gone. No more concerts, no more insights. But what a coincidence that this video was chosen, so close to Gord’s passing. The tears and sadness of this past week are still fresh but I’m glad I watched this video. Thank you, Ms. Jeanne.

What a wonderfully close and loving family! No words can ever express the vast depth of the hole that is left in a family that loses a child. But their joyful memories are helping to lift them up. May the chicken run at midnight for us all !
