I saw them in Tallahassee, FL. It was a fun show!
‘The loveliest of all was the unicorn” will be stuck in my head all day!
I wish there was a video of the original group – I don’t recognize any of them in this one, and it sure would be lovely to see the bunch as they were, way back when. I’m so glad they’re still doing their thing, all these years later. The Unicorn song was so popular that it was sung in school for years, during class, along with Puff the Magic Dragon, which was less well-known but still popular. A great bunch of guys and they looked the same out in public just going about their business as they did on stage, some of them were so very big they seemed literally larger than life, like legends! Great fun and great music.
I loved the unicorn song when I was a little girl.
