While I truly enjoy the stories here, I was more concerned about you than about my own entertainment. Glad to hear everything is okay!
I realized that my absence could create speculation. I was so focused on getting that project done and out of the way that I couldn’t think of doing anything else.

This strikes me as attention seeking.
I’d assumed you were on holiday – but it would have taken seconds to put up a post saying that (or even explaining your mystery overwhelming project). It seems a bit inconsiderate, especially for an etiquette expert, to disappear and let others worry about you.
Wow, that’s a huge jump. I don’t think etiquette involves an obligation to give on a schedule that suits others. I’m certainly glad she’s ok, but Admin doesn’t owe her readers anything….we don’t subscribe, we read what she decides to put out, at her own pace, for free.
Also: if you understood etiquette, you’d also know that you don’t have any rights to know about her private business, projects, health or anything else. Stating that she owes you an explanation is completely erroneous, and rude in and of itself.
