Not bad advice. I’ll just comment that when using an interpreter (assuming most people reading this don’t sign) speak directly to the person and avoid the urge to look at the interpreter while they are relaying the message (it’s hard, we’re used to looking at the person who is speaking). Don’t cover your mouth, it makes it harder to lip read. And speak normally.
