Cell Phone Etiquette

    One thing I hate the most is when someone replies to my text with a simple one letter or one word response….like “k” or “yes”. No such reply should be necessary or needed. A short reply uses up the same amount of cell minutes as an entire page.

    Yes, I have a free LifeLine cell provided by the government but that comes with limited amount of monthly minutes. If those minutes are used up before the end of the month, LifeLine cell users must either purchase additional, non-rolling minutes or do without phone service until the next month starts. It may seem kind of petty to many people but please understand that if someone has a free LifeLine cell phone, then they do not

It may seem kind of petty to many people but please understand that if someone has a free LifeLine cell phone, they usually do not have the extra money each month to purchase additional minutes…especially when the phone will dump all left-over minutes whenever the next month starts.

    You shouldn’t send 3 or more pages as a response but please….send more than just 1 or 2 letters. No response will tell the person…’k’ or ‘yes’ or even ‘I agree’. Thanks
