A yummy bowl of poverty to start the day
« on: August 18, 2011, 07:06:30 AM »
YUM!!!  I tried to find that thread before I posted this and couldn't (the one about the co-irker that told an e-hellion her lovely bowl of oatmeal smelled like poverty!).

That still annoys me from time to time whilst I enjoy my warm and creamy bowl of oatmeal with maple and brown sugar and a sprinkle of ground flax seed.

How are you having your poverty this morning??

I am actually having bran flakes and blueberries today. But if I was in the mood for poverty, I'd have it with brown sugar, pecans, bananas, and milk. Yum.

I always put a bunch of brown sugar in mine, but I keep meaning to experiment with my poverty.  I have a bowl every weekday morning before work.  :)
I searched for nothing on the Internet and got 175,000,000 hits.

Ha. Hubby and daughter had it this morning. I add in some ground flax-seed before it's done, then for hers a little bit of cinnamon, honey and milk. Husband just adds brown sugar and milk. And if I were to have a bowl, I only add brown sugar. No milk for me!  :P  :)

I have to eat certified gluten free poverty now, but the kind I've found in the specialty grocery tastes delicious!

Well, my poverty was a bit different this morning as I had a tuna sandwich. But otherwise I like the other poverty with milk, and a bit of sugar--bonus points if it's brown sugar!

I could have gone for some poverty this morning. I prefer Quaker maple and brown sugar poverty. It's delicious.  ;D

I love oatmeal with chopped up kale cooked in it, and a little garlic, salt and pepper.
I've never knitted anything I could recognize when it was finished.  Actually, I've never finished anything, much to my family's relief.

This morning it was poverty with banana and brown sugar.  Tomorrow I have one peach left to make its poverty debut.

I love mine with cinnamon, brown sugar, and dried fruit (cranberries or cherries usually) or with several tablespoons of jam (enough to change the color!).

I have to say, in the thread about the hobo wedding, I kept waiting for somebody to make an oatmeal/poverty joke, but it never seemed like the right time to do it myself.

I like poverty made with apple juice, cinnamon and raisins.

I'm not. We have no yummy poverty today, just the upsetting bill time kind.

But I'm gonna buy a box of instant poverty as soon as I go to the store.
