Is microwavable poverty an oxy moron?

Noah loves the following poverty recipe:

1 dl oatmeal
3 dl milk
1,5 teaspoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon of raisins
0,5 dl apple juice

Zap for 6 minutes in the microwave, and let it rest for 2 minutes. Stir. It's yummy!

I must say, I find the texture of poverty revolting! Steel-cut poverty is slightly better and I will eat it, if I must, with maple syrup, milk and brown sugar.

We are no longer friends! Poverty tastes great in all its forms! I love poverty porridge, poverty cookies, poverty encrusted chickenbreast with cheddar! All classics.

All kidding aside: still haven't lost the remote! Longest time we've ever not lost one!

I like my poverty steel-cut, with dried apples cooked in & a drizzle of maple syrup.

If we're being open about our breakfast preferences, though, I confess that I prefer racism, toasted, with lox, red onion and a nice schmear  ;)

I'm mortally offended that you would cast aside my friendship over poverty! I don't even like poverty cookies, and with raisins they are MADE OF EVIL!!!  I may never recover!  ;D

I would also like to nominate asparagus as 'tastes like middle class' because we could only afford it when times were good, and steak as 'tastes like wealth' since we NEVER got that!  ;D

I just saw the poverty with banana! Noah is totally eating that for breakfast tomorrow! How small do I cut that up?

The smell of it cooking makes me gag  :-X The only way I can eat it is dry spoonsfuls from packets.

Mmmm, old fashioned poverty with raisins, cinnamon, milk and butter.  Sometimes some Splenda brown sugar blend if I haven't used it all up making baked apples...which use poverty for the topping, so there you go!

Oh man, I should not have read this thread! I am totally craving some poverty right now. And there's honey and banana on the counter...

Miss my morning bowl of poverty! But hitchhiker gives me heartburn and nausea when I eat it  :'(

I'll wait a month or so and try again.

I like mine with apples, craisins, brown sugar and cinniamon
