3 Things On a Deserted Island
« on: September 16, 2011, 11:57:14 PM »
An old game, but a fun one none the less: If you were stranded on a deserted island and you could only bring three people or objects, who or what would they be ?

I would bring a western society city, my family (anyone/anything I consider family), and a stick.

A copy of the entire contents of the British library, a working replicator, and a sleeping bag.

Well, you did say anything!

Good news! Your insurance company says they'll cover you. Unfortunately, they also say it will be with dirt.

Mr. Sirius, a year's worth of MREs, and his laptop.  We could figure out how to generate electricity from what we've got available; not only does he read a lot, as do I, but we could look things up on his laptop.

Despite the amount of reading I do, here's a dumb question:  Wouldn't we have to have an internet connection?

Gilligan's Island taught me you just have to string together the right combination of coconut shells,  jungle vines and random spare parts to get reception  :-*
