I think I read this on this very site, but the phrase "sharp as a sack of wet mice" is stuck in my head right now.

I'm not quite sure if this works but I want to keep this thread going. 

Years ago, a boss said that the Library needs, 'more of a factory mentality'. 

I don't know about you but I've never heard the term, 'factory mentality' used in a positive way.

Aunt Loretta was noted in the family for her odd and amusing ways of saying things. 

When she had a cold she would say, 'I'm feeling pretty good.  I just have this annoying post-natal drip'.

At the Wedding Reception of her son, she accepted thanks from friends and family.  Yes, things came off just fine but yesterday, 'We were all running around like chickens with our hats off.'

Aunt Loretta also was proud of the modern furniture her DS and DIL bought for their new home.  The  HC bought a sectional sofa for their living room.  Aunt Loretta described is as , 'a sexual sofa'. 

Do you think that Aunt Loretta was really, really hoping for a Grandchild? 

Yes, she was and she got several.

Actually, they're malapropisms but Let's try another.

My Grandmother always said that a good laugh, 'turned her liver over'.  If you stop to think of it, doesn't a real good belly laugh feel like things are moving around inside you?
