Hmmmmm, definitely keeping my temper and saying some variant of "That won't be possible".  I try to do it, really, and then my mom just says something and I just blow up and forget...  -_-

For me it is ending conversations I don't want to be in.  I somehow attract people who tell me waaaaaaay more than I want to know or just keep going on and on when I have to get something done.  I've never worked out how to cut the conversation without hurting the person's feelings.

I wish I was faster at thinking on my feet and being more assertive, but in classy way.  When somebody puts me on the spot to do a big or unreasonable favor, I often find myself saying yes before thinking about it or saying no and feeling I owe them an apology or explanation for saying no.  I noticed somebody said they think of a good comeback after it is too late if somebody makes an uprovoked snarky comment and I am the same way.  Often times I let it go when I am not comfortable with the person saying it or come back with something equally as rude and immature if I know the person well.  I'd love to be able to come back with a witty, but classy comeback on the spot.

I wish I was better at making small talk and conversation with aquaintances and strangers.  I am rather shy and feel out of place when with a large group of people who are not close friends like a business meeting or a cocktail party.  Some people are so easily able to strike up conversation at a party and I always feel that when I try it the conversations are awkward and the person I am talking to is looking for an escape.

This is a problem of mine I am currently working on, and making progress :) But I still have some ways to go.

I need tolearn how to stay calm and professional when faced with someone who is abusing me and/or talking down to me.  Basically, I need to keep my temper.

Me too. I get very frustrated and it comes out in my voice and I have a tendency to slam things.  Which is rude!

If you could see or learn how to act in certain situations, what would those situations be?  How to respond to a rude question?  Proper introductions?

I need to wrestle my temper to the ground, get it in a half nelson and shove it in a box. I am the worst to lose it, I have gotten a lot better but I'm still a shade volatile. I get tearful too, I wish I could quit that, it's so childish.
I have finally found the bar I can't get thrown out of....
