Am I being nit picky?

(1/1)

IndianInlaw:
I was cleaning out my mom's old mail (she has baskets full of it) and came across a funeral card for Former SIL's Husband #3.  For those not familiar with funeral cards, these are the size of a playing card and have a picture of the deceased on them and sometimes a prayer.   The funeral home prints them as part of their services.

Anyways, this one had a picture of H#3, but he was standing with Former SIL.  All I could think of was "It's all about me".   They were standing far enough apart that she could have been edited out.

Who cares?  He was a mean man, who hated the kids and locked the cupboards and refrigerator, despite the fact the kids brought in a total of $2400 a month, Social Security survivor's benefits.

Sandi Papaya:
Let go of it. It's part of the past. Toss it out.

It no longer applies. Especially if he was a mean old miser who took advantage of the kids.

Edited because I really do know the difference between "pass" and "past" - really.

Suze:
I agree

what's done is done - and long gone

IndianInlaw:
Well, I started out ranting about Former SIL putting her picture on #3's funeral card.

I've seen funeral cards both ways -- with and without the significant other pictured with the deceased.
