Do you enjoy reading about the Serenity Series? (I'm trying to gauge the appropriateness of posting more stories for the forum.

How do you feel about the Serenity Series?

I'm trying to figure out whether or not I should continue posting more Serenity Stories, or if the majority of EHellions would prefer I didn't.  Please let me know how you feel and I will follow through accordingly.  Thanks.

It's like a train wreck, and it makes me sick at heart to read it. BUT having said that, please do keep posting it. The ehellions in general give such terrific advice, and you may well be called on to be a pillar of strength for this couple before the marriage is over.

I'm glad you feel that way Tabris.  I was a bit worried, because I know in the old venue sometimes stories about people managed to turn other Ehellions off a bit, and I just don't want that to happen in this situation.

Oh MrsB, I LOOOOOVE the serenity series....I know it's wrong, but if loving the serenity series is wrong I don't want to be right. There is something so hilarious about that whole trainwreck....I could not wait until you went to that reception just to hear the stories that would come back.
I hope to see "Serenity II: The Married Years" coming soon...those two fascinate me....

Well, I have read a few, but what about having an admin create a child board for stories like this (you should make that an option in your poll!)? That way, people that want to read can, and people that want etiquette only can ignore, without it clogging a particular category...

While I harbor no ill feelings towards the posters of stories/vents, and even sometimes enjoy reading stories/vents, I think we should try not to dilute the purpose of the board, so that those that want to come here for etiquette related issues can do that  freely (and if you have a section for stories/vents, people that want that can have it too.  But I guess it's up to the mods if they want to have that section or not).

Does that make sense?

Rdge that totally makes sense.  I'll definitely talk to EHell Dame/admins about possibly creating a child folder so that series stories can be grouped together and don't wind up carrying over into other etiquette areas.  Can you create child folders on your own, or does it have to be done by an admin.  Any admins reading this, please help!  Thanks.

I have to admit, the first time I saw "Serenity" in the title of a post, my brain flew immediately to the long-dead TV series "Firefly," of which I'm a big fan, and I was disappointed to find out these posts had nothing to do with that.  :P

BUT...that said, I think everyone loves a good train wreck, and here's one in the making, so I look forward to the Serenity stories now. So keep 'em coming!
