Smoking outside?

(1/7) > >>

I don't smoke myself and under my housing contract my home has to remain non-smoking. Is it rude to ask guests to smoke outside now it's getting colder?

Not at all.  I think most smokers expect it nowadays.

If your contract says you have to maintain a no-smoking house -- I don't think that you have much of a choice in the matter.

i smoke, but i don't smoke in MY house; never have, never will.  so i would have no problem stepping outside to smoke at your house, if i was lucky enough to be invited to visit.

Explain it's in your contract.
