I can't go to the bathroom when you're on the phone in there!

This topic is SO appropriate because something strange happened to me today in the lady's room at work. I went in to do my business and while in the stall I hear a strange rustling noise from the stall next to me. Then, I hear some chomping/chewing noises. Yes, folks, someone was eating while going to the bathroom at work! I was half appalled and half tempted to start laughing hysterically. But, it made me shake my head and remember, almost fondly, the good ole days when the only "unnatural" sound coming from the stall next to me was the occasional crinkle of a newspaper.

Ew. I can't imagine wanting to eat in a bathroom at all, let alone a public bathroom!

Me too! Two of the women where I work, sing in the loo!.
Good news: it covers one's own 'business' noise
Bad news: neither of them can actually sing, so it sort of screechy.

As a corellary, I went into the restroom at the mall last night. I heard a girl come in talking on her cell phone and said to the person on the other end "I have to pee so Ill call you back in a couple minutes", and I thought "yeah! a person who understands manners!"

If I had been the person she was talking to I would have said "Thanks for sharing" in the most pained voice possible.  To me this is TMI.

I know, that's what was so amazing about it! I think the weirdest thing I've done while in a public restroom is I've caught myself talking to myself while in the stall. Usually I'm thinking about something at work...and the next thing I know I'm having a wonderful conversation all by my lonesome.  A little embarrassing but not as bad as eating in there.
