I'm a Heineken fan, and it's a bit more expensive than other beers.  To prevent the same thing, I bought cheap beer for the New Years party.  I knew the only other guy that drinks beer didn't care what kind it was, so long as there was plenty of it, and I didn't want to waste good beer on someone who didn't care what the beer tasted like.

And when I get to another state to buy Yuingling, I hide it from everyone.  Mmmmmm, Yuingling.

Your story reminded me of the guests that wouldn't leave that we had last summer.  I'll have to start another thread.

If only I could still get some Yuingling.....

I was blessed in a way to have a bunch of friends who liked cheap beer.  Not that there's anything wrong with liking it!  Just doesn't sit well in my tummy.  But, that meant I got to keep all the Killians to myself. :P

I'm in PA, about 45 minutes from the Yeungling factory......It always amuses me when we go somewhere out of state and someone asks us to bring them a case of Yeungling because they can't get it!

Around here, more Yeungling is sold than Bud, Miller & Coors.  If someone goes in to a restaurant and just says "i'll have a lager", it is just assumed that they mean Yeungling.

You're making me quite thirsty.  And here I am, stuck with the leftover Budweiser from the New Years party.  Sigh.

Any chance you'll be in Ohio soon?

And if you are in OH, would you be anywhere near the MI border?  I'm willing to meet you halfway. ;)
