may i make a small suggestion for long threads?

i don't know if this option is available to the admins of the forum or not. if it isn't then disregard :)

is it possible to make a dropdown of page numbers if a thread gets longer than 20 pages? sometimes i see threads that are up to 100 pages and what I get at the top is this

"1 ... 31 32 33 34 35 [36] 37 38 39 40 41 ... 102"

pretend i posted on page 60 and came back later in a really active thread that got to 200 pages. i have to click the 41. then the 51. then the 61. or i have to click the 200 and go backwards. it can be very time consuming.

a dropdown menu of pages 1 to 200 or the highest page number of the thread would help a lot.

apologies if this isn't possible. thank you for your time.

Hitting the "new" button takes you to the last page you read. is that what you're looking for?

One short cut is to change the last number in the URL. This link will start at post 870 in the thread. It's still a bit annoying, but easier than clicking back through.

oh shoot the proxy i was using for my privacy borked and i used the alternate. sorry for the double post in the forums :(

Also, if you click the ... it expands the page numbers further. (It took me two years to figure that one out)
