Question about "Dogpiling"
« on: January 28, 2012, 02:33:28 PM »
I have noticed a few posts in which people "dogpile" against the OP, unnecessarily and sometimes unfairly. I am not talking about my posts necessarily, although there have been some snarky comments which I have, to the most part, ignored. This is an etiquette site, but some of the comments I have noticed have been passive aggressive and hinting that the OP is a troll (or at least, that is how I read it).

If certain members do repeatedly post "snarky" comments making jibes at the OP, or attempt to "pick holes" in a story and denounce it as a "troll", do these members get warned privately about their conduct?

I really am trying to learn something from this site, but some responses just seem to serve no purpose whatsoever!

Thanks mods!
