When I was about three or four I misheard "sing hallelujah" "sing a-lay-New York".  I'm still not sure how that happened!

Discovered yesterday that A-Ha's "Take On Me" is actually

I swear I've always heard the second half of the chorus as "I belong to you."  The verses don't seem to make any more sense one way than the other, so I think I'll keep singing my way when nobody's in the car to hear me

Ever since, the song has conjured up images of men with large fur hats, long beards and long silk coats gliding gracefully around a dance floor. 

After that dream, Mr. Thipu has given up on a combination of 'Meat Feast' pizza and bourbon before bed.
