Tme Change
« on: April 04, 2012, 01:28:29 AM »
I noticed when I logged on after the migration that my clock on ehell had moved ahead an hour. I just went to profile look and layout and clicked on auto detect and all was well.

Which is good because that kind of thing drives me crazy.

Yeah, I've just noticed that my clock has shifted ahead by an hour.  I'll have to shift it back.  (I had to shift it myself a few weeks ago when Daylight Savings Time started and the old server didn't seem to clue in.)  I wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't pointed it out.  Thank you!

I'm responsible for this.   When the site came back up after the migration, we were looking at the time stamps for recent posts to see if people were able to make posts and at first they were 3 hours ahead of my actual time.   Changed the forum setting to reflect the time where the server is located and it was still an hour ahead.  Changed it again to be accurate for my time zone.    Does everyone see the time as being one hour ahead of their actual time still?

If we mean this:

Hello The Revenant
Show unread posts since last visit.
Show new replies to your posts.

then yep, mine agrees with my PC's clock and my phone and my watch, so I'm gonna say it's all good.

Mine's an hour ahead in Eastern US.  Thanks to fix it now!

Mine's fine at BST - before the upgrade it was still showing at GMT and I was about to go and reset it, but forgot and now it's right, so didn't have to!

I did the auto detect and it entered the -1 needed to fix my time.

Thanks, Cass!
