Coming in a bit late here, but holy cannoli. I don't have any particular problem with spiders in general; as long as they're not actually crawling on my person, I'm okay, probably due to having grown up in a house in the woods that seemed to be a second home for a large percentage of the local spider population. However, imagining being in a dark house with at least 23 black widows is giving me the creeping horrors. I might have run out screaming too. I think any sane person would have done the same (or at least retreated strategically!).

Okay, even when I was working on a house, was calm, and didn't move while a female black widow crawled down my leg (the area was very buggy), I am still terrified of spiders and would seriously freak out if any of this stuff happened to me. The only reason I didn't move was because I was thinking the whole time, "If I move, it'll bite me. If I move, it'll bite me."

Just thinking about it is giving me the heebies and the jeebies.
