Now I'm curious...what show was it?

King of the Hill.  It's the one where Bobby goes to a woman's self defense class and they teach him to say that line and then kick the perp in the "middle nether-regions".  So he actually starts doing it, not only to fight bullies but to get anything he wants.  Classic episode!  ;D

Honestly I pretty hacked at the acquaintance.  I thought she was bossy and controlling.  I'm glad I just politely disregarded her direction...gently told her by my actions,"REALLY?"

Me, too, and I don't even like to leave it with the person I trust the most, DH, since the time I asked him to watch it while we were out to dinner and I needed to use the restroom, but then decided I needed it so brought it with me.  When I returned to the table I thought I'd test him, and asked, "Did you watch my purse for me?"  Him, "Yup, it's right there......OH! (momentary panic)"  Yeah, great DH, horrible purse attendant.  ;)
