too late.
Friday we got freezing snow. The temp was around 20 (F) and as the snow hit the road, it would freeze immediately. It was treacherous. I, myself, was in a fender bender when the suv on the other side of the road slid in front of me. There were a reported 56 incidents (fender benders, slide offs, true accidents) in two hours including one accident that closed down the entire interstate for two hours. That night it warmed up and everything got slushy. NO PLOWS (grit trucks or anti-icers) to be seen anywhere.
Saturday we woke up to 4 inches (no big deal) and dealt with slushy piles of snow in the road all day and icy mounds of snow in the road that night as the temperatures dropped to the low 20's. NO PLOWS (grit trucks or anti-icers) to be seen anywhere.
This morning we woke up to 1 inch of snow (it is to laugh) and that is quickly melting away in the rain that is falling now.
In the last 15 minutes, four (FOUR) plows have gone past my house plus the grit truck!!

Who is scheduling and sending these trucks out? I sit here absolutely amazed at the incompetence.
Anyone else have examples of incompetence...LOL?
