What common electronic items (and connections) do you NOT have?
Amara:
Kindles. Nooks. Blackberrys. Cell phones. Televisions. Stereos. DVD players. Facebook. Twitter. Blogs. Etc.
Are you all wired up or are you wire (or wireless) free? I am the latter. One laptop computer that never goes anywhere. One Internet connection. One landline phone. That's it--except for lots of print books. But I swear I am not a Luddite.
BB-VA:
No smart phone. I have a Samsung flip phone that I use to actually TALK to people. I have no idea how to text and no desire to learn.
No Kindle, Nook, etc.
My husband does have a generic pad that he uses that is compatible with the name brand readers. I think we got it at Kmart.
Still on the land line at home because cell phone service is not the most reliable at home.
Outdoor Girl:
I'm still using a landline. I do have an archaic cell phone from work that I'm allowed to use for local calls and texting but I almost never do. I do have a laptop with wireless now, that I love because I can watch TV and surf eHell at the same time. :D
No facebook, twitter, blog, any other social media deal.
I do have a Kindle, though. It will never replace my actual books but it is really nice for getting books that I don't want to be seen reading (like bodice ripper type stuff). I generally only get free or $0.99 books, with the occasional more expensive one thrown in.
Vall:
No cable TV, cell phone, HD TV, Blu-Ray, Kindle, I-Pad, I-Pod, Wireless, Facebook, Twitter, Blog. (Chuckle) We don't even have a remote garage door opener. And my computer is about 7 years old.
I just don't have much of an interest in those things, so I've never bought them. But I love my digital camera.
kareng57:
I think I have the same cell phone as BB. It's somewhat limited in its usefulness as I keep forgetting to recharge it - and when I do remember, I then keep forgetting to take it with me.
No Kindle, no Facebook, no Twitter, no camera. I did just get a new TV and PVR a few months ago.
