What common electronic items (and connections) do you NOT have?
deadbody:
I don't have a blu-ray player :)
I have a smart phone, multiple laptops, multiple game systems, cable TV (mostly for ESPN). In my defense I travel a decent amout for work, and these things help me stay connected to my family.

Hmm. I used to think of myself as pretty technologically lacking, but after reading about what all of you don't have I realize I HAVE most of these things. The only things I don't have are a blue-ray dvd player and any type of gaming system.
I do have an Android phone, but I have Virgin Mobile, which is no contract and pay as you go, with a low monthly rate. And my DVR came with my FIOS package, and is free as long as I keep all the same services. I'm sorely tempted though, as VM will be getting the iphone. I love them, but refuse to pay the ridiculous monthly amount most carriers charge as I don't use my phone much for calling, but playing.

The list of electronic toys that I do have would be easier to list: Desktop computer, notebook computer, GPS (purchased this year), two LCD TVs. Oh, and I have FIOS for the Internet and landline. No cable TV, though. The office gave me a Blackberry, mostly to keep up with my office email. I haven't the slightest idea how to text on it, though.
No smart phone
No e-reader
No video games systems
No Twitter or Facebook account
I have a DVD player, but no Blu-ray
I use an answering machine on the landline.
I no longer have a stereo system or home theater sound system

I love my gadgets. I don't have a blog or twitter though. I have thought about a blog but I'm not really a journal person and I don't think I have anything to say regularly that anyone else would want to read. We don't have a blu-ray player either but one of the game systems plays it so I'm not sure that really counts. I still have my landline, it ends up not being much extra and I don't like having just the cell phones.
