Middle names for Margaret?

(1/14) > >>

MommyPenguin:
Anybody have any good ideas for middle names that would go well with the first name Margaret (probably nicknamed "Maggie?").  Last name is two syllables, accent on the first, starts with M.

My husband likes the idea of an iambic middle name, but I find most of them painful, to be honest.  And the few I like, he doesn't.  :)

In general, our style tends towards somewhat classic but less common names, slightly more French than English in origin (so I guess Margaret fits that!), generally on the long side, some Biblical.

Any ideas?  My husband ran into the name Siobhan and after being shocked a bit at its pronunciation, said he really likes it.  Would it be too unusual a name to use as a middle name?  None of the other names we're going with are very Irish, although I'm half Irish by heritage, but my husband isn't at all.  Nobody could pronounce it, but then it probably wouldn't need to be pronounced all that often, as a middle name, right?

I like May as a middle name, and I think it sounds lovely with just about everything... But would that be too many M's? I am biased though, being a May baby :-)

I have an aunt named Margaret Mary.

Are you going to be using her middle name with her nickname a lot? The first name that comes to mind is Emma. I also read the name Ellaline somewhere once and loved it. Maybe Olivia or Elizabeth?

Only me:
What about Anne
