Can you help save part of a local park?

The Marlpit Lane Bowling Green was part of the Coulsdon Memorial park, a public green open to any users, and accessible by the disabled. The Green was extensively used by the elderly and disabled community. Unfortunately the council didn't track usage and assumed no one used it, so in the last round of cuts the council withdrew funding, letting the green overgrow and become unusable. The Friends of Marlpit Lane Bowling Green has formed to takeover running it and restore it to use.

There's currently an application in to get 5000 restoration funds, but to support their application the group needs signatures on a petition. If anyone is willing to help, you can sign online here or for more about the group, try here:
