Act 1, scene 3 from the mechant of venice

Signior Antonio, many a time and oft
In the Rialto you have rated me
About my moneys and my usances:
Still have I borne it with a patient shrug,
For sufferance is the badge of all our tribe.
You call me misbeliever, cut-throat dog,
And spit upon my Jewish gaberdine,
And all for use of that which is mine own.
Well then, it now appears you need my help:
Go to, then; you come to me, and you say
'Shylock, we would have moneys:' you say so;
You, that did void your rheum upon my beard
And foot me as you spurn a stranger cur

The funny thing is my older sister had to learn it for English and roped me into drilling her on it. I picked it up faster than she did.

The song that starts --

Oh, a capital ship for an ocean trip
Was the Walloping Window Blind.

No wind that blew dismayed her crew
Nor troubled the captain's mind. . .

And a verse from a sweet sampler that still hangs in my mother's kitchen

I've been to church and glad to go
Tis like a little heaven here below.

Not for my pleasure, nor my play
Would I forget the sabbath day.
Just because you're disappointed in me doesn't mean I did anything wrong.
