And since some people hate political discussions, it's rude to go onto someone else's wall or status and make something political.

Oh my goodness, yes, it's definitely rude to threadjack with politics when the discussion is not about politics. Yesterday I was talking about a sports-related topic on an internet thread and somebody popped in with "(Politician) is ruining our country and wacky conspiracy theory and the apocalypse is coming and deitysmiting is going to occur and and and..."  ::) ::) ::) Before that, a group of people with disparate politics were happily having a conversation about something fun...
