What is the tactic known as the Toots Special?

True on the Scritzy!

As for oatmeal, it smells like my mothers kitchen in the 40's, mine in the 60's but now mine smells like quinoa flakes.

Repeating ringtailedlemurs question which didn't get answered and I don't know:

What is the tactic known as the Toots Special?

The Toots special is repeating the same answer to every iteration and variation of a request/question.

Name one (the one?) thing that had 100% agreement on the rudeness of the act (phase is now used when a thread seems to be running all to one side).

Snakes in a restaurant! (Everyone agreed that was a no!)

Did the first parent mentioned in the Baby names thread actually use the name they were immortalized for? Bonus points if you can remember the actual name without looking it up! ;D

Oatmeal smells like poverty.

It's "snakes in a restaurant" rude.

What is the most common way to virtually hug someone's username in the "I need a hug" folder?

I think it was Miichael, and they did end up using it. I asked about a hundred pages later. :)

Edit: Oh, that means I have to ask a question! What was Roe's big season of using her backbone of steel called?

And oh, um let's see, a question. How did the term Special Snowflakes originate?

Yes, they did use it, but it was Ahhneastiy Lyyn. No bonus points for you! :P

I read that it began either on fight club or in relation to Twilight.

I'm going to take a guess and say "Lakehouse Sally"?

What does it mean when something is eggregoose?
