Congratulations! I, for one, hope you don't end up having too many bad stories! (Cause that means you'd have to experience them...)

Congrats! That's awesome.  :)

Several of the people my husband works with/comes into contact with in the police force (he's a civilian member) got their start as corrections officers, so it can be a stepping stone to other law enforcement careers as well as a career all on its own.
