NaNoWriMo 2012!

Ok first day.  How many words did you do?  And what is your daily target if you are aiming to do more than 50K words.

My target is about 2750-2900 per day

I managed to get to 5600 words on the first day, and my daily target should be around 2000 to 2500 from now on, but I am not sure I'll manage that because I'm already beginning to see the gaps in my research and a gaping plot hole...

Wow guys!!!! I managed to get 3,653 words.

I can't really write on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, so I'm giving myself a daily target of about 2500-3500 for the other 5 days of the week.

I managed only 497 last night at a write in, and then was too tired to finish

I got 1500 words and that's well below my target, but yesterday was a long day for me.  I hope to have a target of about 3000 words per day (though I know there will be days when I go well over that).

It took me a while to find them. Go to the Nanowrimo website, click Fun Stuff on the menu and look under Widgets.

For some reason, I've ignored this thread up until now.  Don't know why...so very odd.

I'm crescentgaia over on the forums.  I used to be something else, but that name is now retired.  I'm working on what I call urban paranormal but NaNo calls horror & supernatural.  *rolls eyes*  Basically, vampires took over the world and now some humans are trying to get their world back.  It's book one of a seven book series, so next year will be book two for NaNo. 

I'm also working on fanfiction projects - got Yuletide assignments being mailed soon and I've got another exchange plus big bangs due - but the bulk of my word count goes towards the novel.  For example, yesterday I wrote 8,202 in the novel and 3,358 in the exchange fic I'm writing.  Some would call this rebelling, since i total the word counts but I'm still a lot ahead in the novel alone.  So, I dunno.

I've got my butt in the chair but am reading EHell and sipping coffee.  Soon enough, my brain will boot up.

Just passed 10,000! A full three days ahead of schedule, so I'm very chuffed. Trying to get ahead so when I can't write next week, I won't fall too far behind.

I got very little done for the last two days. I hope the lot I scribbled overnight gets my total up - I am way behind where I usually am.

Is anyone else addicted to updating their word count? Seriously, I am pathological lately  I love looking at the silly little graph showing me where I am.
