The Unicorn Song (green alligators and long-necked geese, humpty-backed camels and chimpanzees ... )

(To the tune of "Battle Hymn of the Republic")
I know a little song that gets on everybody's nerves.
I know a little song that gets on everybody's nerves.
I know a little song that gets on everybody's nerves,
And this is how it goes:
(repeat ad nauseum)

Monty Python: The Galaxy Song, The Philosopher's Song, The Lumberjack Song, Always Look on the Bright Side of Life

And MP's Accountants Song to that list.

Also "Wasn't That a Party" by the Rovers and "Patricia the Stripper" by Chris deBurgh.

I also love Kevin ****** Wilson.  The lyrics swear a lot but I still find him funny.  Very funny.  >:D

Kevin Bloody Wilson is awesome! I loved him as a kid.  :D
"Mick the Master Farter is the best!

I also like The Streak by Ray Stevens and Like A Surgeon by Weird Al too.

There are two silly songs I like, King of the Cannibal Islands and this one:

Found a Peanut

Found a peanut, found a peanut,
Found a peanut just now,
Just now I found a peanut,
Found a peanut just now.
Cracked it open, cracked it open,
Cracked it open just now,
Just now I cracked it open,
Cracked it open just now.
It was rotten, it was rotten,
It was rotten just now,
Just now it was rotten,
It was rotten just now.
Ate it anyway, ate it anyway,
Ate it anyway just now,
Just now I ate it anyway,
Ate it anyway just now.
Got a stomach ache, got a stomach ache,
Got a stomach ache just now,
Just now I got a stomach ache,
Got a stomach ache just now.
Called the doctor, called the doctor,
Called the doctor just now,
Just now I called the doctor,
Called the doctor just now.
Penicillin, Penicillin,
Penicillin just now,
Just now I took Penicillin,
Penicillin just now.
Operation, operation,
Operation just now,
Just now an operation,
An operation just now.
Died anyway, died anyway,
Died anyway just now,
Just now I died anyway,
Died anyway just now.
Went to heaven, went to heaven,
Went to heaven just now,
Just now I went to heaven,
Went to heaven just now.
Wouldn't take me, wouldn't take me,
Wouldn't take me just now,
Just now Heaven wouldn't take me,
Wouldn't take me just now.
Went the other way, went the other way,
Went the other way just now,
Just now I went the other way,
Went the other way just now.
Didn't want me, didn't want me,
Didn't want me just now,
Just now they didn't want me,
Didn't want me just now.
Was a dream, was a dream,
Was a dream just now,
Just now it was a dream,
Was a dream, just now.
Then I woke up, then I woke up,
Then I woke up just now,
Just now I woke up,
I woke up just now.
Found a peanut, found a peanut,
Found a peanut just now,
Just now I found a peanut,
Found a peanut just now.

I like Wasn't that a Party and Patricia the Stripper, too.

Hold my Beer (While I Kiss Your Girlfriend) - cracks me right up.

The Truck Got Stuck - Corb Lund Band - A friend of mine knows the band; she says that a lot of their material is in the same vein but doesn't get much air time.

Anything by the Arrogant Worms. Ever.

I pulled my groin
I pulled my groin
It's the very best injury, thought I'm walking daintily
I pulled my groin
I puled my groin

(and on and on)

So true...

I'm mighty fond of Jesus' Brother Bob and The Last Saskatchewan Pirate...and Killing the Dog next door

"Oh Lord, It's Hard To Be Humble" (I don't remember the singer)

Mac Davis.

I like most of Bob Rivers' parodies.  Especially the Christmas songs.

We sang this during WAC basic training:

Down by the river, shimmer, shimmer
There sits a GI, slimmer, slimmer
Teeth knocked out and hair partsided,
Tell by the moon that he's cross-eyed,
Ruffles on his underwear flapping in the breezes,
keeping to the tune of the knocking of his knees
I don't care, I love him anyway!

Others may know this or other versions, if so please share!  (WAC = Women's Army Corps)

Another Veggie Tales: The Song of the Cebu.

Thanks for reminding me. It's been years since the boys watched Veggie Tales and I had forgotten this one. Plus "I Love My Lips," "The Bunny Song" and my all-time favorite "Keep Walking."
