Sigh, this hasn't been a good time for me has it? In addition to the other threads I have started, I have another story for you. A couple weekends ago, I went to the movies to see the new James Bond. I knew things would all end in tears when these twelve year olds came in just as the movie was starting. They were the sort that thinks it cool to act "ghetto." This is the suburbs, we don't have a ghetto, they look ridulous. (Sorry, got sidetracked for a moment-it's a pet peeve of mine.)
Anyway, they quieted down for awhile, but about halfway through, they began making noise. The noise grew in volume until they were literally shouting at one another. Then they began throwing things. I don't know if anyone else was hit, but they definitely made a huge mess for the poor theatre employees to clean up. I thought about throwing my soda at them to see how they liked it, but I would have probably been arrested, and it would have been a waste of soda.
Fortunately, someone had the good sense to get and usher, who threatened to call the cops if the kids didn't leave. Everyone clapped as she escorted the kids out. I just think it is said that the kids thought they were allowed to ruin the movie for others. Thanks for reading.
