I think I'd address it but in a way that indicated I believed her.  Something like "Oh yeah, sometimes I am on autopilot and forget to look at the timer.  I've always lucked out and the microwave has been empty."  You are carrying on as if you believe her but establishing that it is her responsibility to check the timer.
