Easy fruit ice cream (WORDGEEK)
(Works without an ice cream maker)
For two servings:
1 cup milk (any variety - soy, skim, full-fat, light cream) OR 1 package soft tofu
1 frozen banana
1/2 to 1-1/2 cups frozen berries
Sweetener to taste
Flavour essence (optional)
Puree in a blender. Serve as is (soft) or stick in the freezer for a harder ice cream.
For stronger-flavoured berries, as blackberries, use the lower amount of fruit. For strawberries or other mild fruit, use the larger amount.
