That's weird.  Mine was already set this way when I logged in.  And I love it.

I do agree with a comment upthread that once you get away from the home page, the gray areas at the top and bottom don't have enough contrast between font color and background color.  It's not bothering me personally because I'm on a 24' monitor, but I'd think it could be tricky for those going mobile.

Any feedback on the look on an Android phone? I'm not going to mess with my settings until forced or told it works well. I pretty much only use the site on my phone.

I made the switch. Looks good. I am using strictly mobile and iPad so any quirks with those I will let you know.

Can't read any of the subforum headings due to a lack of contrast between the font color and the background color.

OK a couple things.

1) The header is different on the iPhone, can't speak for android or BB. Here's a pic from iphone:

Note that if viewed on pc there is no advertisement; if viewed on mobile phone there is.

2) The collapse/expand toggle at the top of each forum grouping is hard to see; not sure how much that's really used...

3) I think I'd make the text located in the control panel at the top darker... it's currently gray on gray.

Personally I love the location of the unread posts and unread replies because from a mobile phone it's conveniently located!

On my regular desktop the Ehell Banner is on the left and there is a huge empty space and then my information.  If you wanted it to be centered it isn't, it's all the way to the left.  The red font is a little jarring.  But everything else is indeed warm.
Oh and what are the red circular designs next to each folder?  A curled up lobed leaf?

It's a lot warmer and more welcoming.  It threw me for a sec to see Unread Posts up by my name, but I adapted quickly.

I liked the old format, and was a bit concerned that the new format would be the "bright" orange that the site briefly defaulted to at some point recently - so was happily surprised that I like the new theme/format. I really, really like it!

This is probably because of my dyslexia but the background hurts my eyes - it looks like a TV that is getting some snow mixed in with the broadcast. My eyes keep being pulled from the text and trying to make words out of the pattern in the texture of the background. (I have this problem on any page with a textured background.
