We have very limited bandwidth where I am.  A 30 minute episode on Netflix takes up about 1G of my 17G bandwidth; add to that the football Mental Boyfriend has been streaming, and we're really on tight restraints.

I said, through giggles, too Mental Boyfriend, "I am totally wasting some of our bandwidth to watch this butterfly poop...and it's going to be so worth it."

Wait, are we literally talking about butterfly feces here? When I read the OP I thought - because of the inverted commas around 'butterfly farm' - that 'butterfly' was standing in for something else, like pigeons, to preserve anonymity.

Things fall in a downward direction, due to gravity, yes?

Of course, they may start in a lateral/horizontal direction, depending on the force with which they begin their journey (a la water squirting from a hose).

Windows are generally vertical, yes? I guess there might be some deviation, if a house is old, not level, etc.

But I'm wondering how likely it would be that poop from a butterfly--whose legs lift its body away from the surface it is standing on--would exit with enough force that it would land on a window pane. On the sill, that makes sense. On the glass itself?

OP, can  you clarify--is the butterfly poop on the glass, or on the sill?

AND

Arlene and DH were curious, so did some research and found that butterfly poop consists small yellow dots of liquid.  So if you're in the Orlando area and see a small yellow blob on your window, it must be Arlene's fault.

Eva said it was on the window.  I don't know the people involved and my sister only sees Arlene occasionally, so it'll at least a few months before we can get an update, if at all.

What a nice introduction to Ettiquette Hell! I can not remember the last time I had coke running out of my nose because of laughing..... but it happened as I was reading this thread!  The subject and the responses are hilarious!!!!!!  I'm off to google Butterfly Poop!!!!!
