I haven't tried that brand, but I gave up on permanent color a few years ago. I felt my hair grows too fast to make it worth the extra expense and nasty chemicals. So I stick with cheap semi-perm now.

However, I definitely found perm colour was exactly that - permanent.  The hair that was dyed stayed dyed until it was chopped off my head. :-) But that's why it bothered me , as my regrowth would come through and I either had to get my roots touched up or live with half n half hair until it grew out completely!   But if you're committed to that colour ongoing that wouldn't be an issue.

I have used Johnson baby shampoo after dying my hair. A hair dresser recommended it to keep the red from fading.
