1. DVD: Moonstruck

2. CD: Something by Mozart - probably the Amadeus soundtrack

3. Book: Well on the UK's Desert Island Discs Radio programme, you automatically get to take The Bible and the complete Works of Shakespeare, and then choose one book. But if those other two aren't a given, then I'd take Shakespeare. If did have the Shakespeare already then I guess I'd add East of Eden? I do seem to enjoy rereading that one, and it's lengthy enough.

4. Lifetime supply of one type of food: think I'll have to go for chocolate too. Not that I eat a lot of it, but it's always nice to have on hand.....

5. Celebrity: Gerard Butler (and hey, he can sing me songs from Phantom of the Opera so it's like being able to take a bonus CD with me!  ;D)

6. Board game to play with your celebrity: tempted like many others to say Twister, esp with Mr Butler in tow, but will say Chess instead - even though I really don't know how to play. Will give me something to learn and keep my mind active.

7. Bonus: lots and lots of white wine!  ;)

Ooh, fun!  Although ask me again tomorrow and I'll have different answers.  ;)

DVD: Say Anything or a Seinfeld season box-set
CD: I would get tired of any one genre.  If I have to pick one artist, though, I'll go with Bon Jovi's Crossroads
Book:Worst Case Scenario, or Three Black Skirts.  I can't read a story more than once.
Food: Chicken Scallopine (sp?)
Celebrity: I think George Clooney would be a great conversationalist.  If Oprah has retained the information that has been passed through her show, I would choose her instead.  Ooh, or Isaac Mizrahi.  I stink at this game, lol.
Board Game: Scrabble
Bonus: RUM!  Or a Swiss Army Knife, so I never get bored.  But not both...that would be a bad idea.  ;D

2. A CD - Ooh, that's hard... Eer, Unleashed Memories by Lacuna Coil.

You like them? My friend M is NUTS about them. Right before xmas they came to our area & she went to see them 2x. She made them all soccer t-shirts & they brought her onto the bus so she could get out of the cold & gave her a sweatshirt. NOT she was on the bus like a groupie would be; they sounded like nice people.

Lacuna Coil are absolute loves. they don't come to the UK that often so I've only seen them 17 times so far. I tend to feed them. I did Gothy Toffee and fudge and a big sunflower cake... I may have too much time on my hands.

1.) A DVD - Dogma (so how are we all going to play our DVD's on this island???)
2.) A CD - DJ Markski Ski Mixes
3.) A Book - Valley of the Dolls ( I know it's horribly cliche ish, but it would keep entertained!)
4.) A lifetime supply of one type of food - Popcorn
5.) A celebrity - Seth McFarlane
6.) A board game to play with your celebrity - Scattergories
7.) One bonus item - DH (okay it might not be fair to bring another person), but if I couldn't bring him then I'd a huge box with my paint supplies and canvasses.

I love that so many people put internet or computer!  We have to be able to report all the etiquette violations on the island! "You'll never guess what that rude monkey flung at me today!!"

DVD:  As long as box sets are permissible, all of Dark Shadows.
CD:    100 Anos de Musica Mexicana by Alejandro Fernandez (original double disc)
Book:  Complete works of William Shakespeare
Food:  Sugar-free Starbucks ice cream
Celebrity:  Pablo Montero (with whom I would also be able to practice my Spanish)
Board Game:  Chess
Bonus:  Computer with internet access

Do we all have access to each other's islands?

DVD: If Venus gets to bring her Dark Shadows, then I get to bring House.
CD:  Hmmmm...Paint The Sky by Enya
Book:  Yipes.  Toss up between three. I'll go with the book of Fairytales that belonged to my grandmother.  That and the book of FT she gave me are the ones I'd rescue if the house was buring.
Food: Gram's Tollhouse Cookies...nothing like 'em since.
Celebrity:  Kevin Bacon.  We could work off the Tollhouse Cookies by dancing...although it might be tough if the only CD I have is by Enya and not the soundtrack of Footloose..   ;D
Board Game: Trivial Pursuit, Book Lover's Edition.
Bonus: Great minds think alike: computer and internet access.

Since dancing is such an excellent thing, who's got Patrick Swayze?

2. A CD: Rob Thomas....LOVE him!  But if he's my celeb, then no need for that...so I'd go with a cd I made with all of my fav songs. :)
3. A Book: hmmm....a really thick one!
4. A lifetime supply of one type of food: pasta
5. A celebrity: Rob Thomas!
6. A board game to play with your celebrity: Deck of cards...that way you can play lots of games
7. One bonus item other than a cell phone or way of leaving said island: laptop

This is hard for me, I am very indecisive.  And I have eclectic taste...

1. A DVD - Monty Python and the Holy Grail, or Grey's Anatomy, or Lord of the Rings
2. A CD - Either Brother's "The Digging Bone" or Brian Froud's Faeries compilation CD
3. A Book - Since I'm bringing my favorite author with me, probably The Chronicles of Narnia (I have all 7 bound into a single book so that's not cheating)
4. A lifetime supply of one type of food - Chinese food
5. A celebrity - Charles DeLint
6. A board game to play with your celebrity - I second either the deck of cards or chess.  Learning chess would be a good way to spend some time.  Scrabble would be good, too.
7. One bonus item other than a cell phone or way of leaving said island...Hmm, I am hoping Charles will bring his fiddle along voluntarily, so I would bring my photography equipment (this includes a computer with editing software  :))
